SYRIA... SIMPLE VISIT

DAY 01: ARRIVAL DAMASCUS 


Arrival to Syrian border (Lebanon / Jordan)/ Airport, meet and assist, transfer to the hotel. And overnight. 


DAY 02: DAMASCUS 


After Breakfast, we will dedicate this day to visit this impressive city. Starting with Visit, the national museum as a great interduce of the Syrian History, then walking beside to be in the Alsuleimannieh Mosque, after visit walk heading the old city and enter from Alhamidieh grand bazar, at the end of this market we can reach The Mausoleum of Saladine and the Omayyad Mosque, impressive construction dedicate to Islamic cult. Azem Palace, with the vestige of Damascus costumes and life. Continue to the Straight Street, the chapel of Saint Ananias, The Saint Paul window, free time, Overnight.


DAY 03: DAMASCUS – MAALOULA – CRACK DES CHEVALIERS – TARTOUS 


Departure from Damascus to Ma'aloula: one of the most scenic villages in Syria and is of particular interest as the only place in the world where Aramaic; the language spoken by Christ is still used as a living language. The word Maaloula means entrance in Aramaic. It's situated at an altitude of more than 1500 meters; with its little houses cling to the face of an enormous rock; making it look suspended in mid-air. There are two important places for Christian Cult in Maaloula: Saint Serge Monastery and Saint Tecla Convent, continuation to visit crack des chevaliers: One of the best known sites in Syria, situated in the mountains towards the coast. It is part of the Crusader's past of this region. The Castle is beautifully restored. After this visit’s we will heading Tartous, and overnight.


DAY 04: TARTOUS – ARWAD – AMRIT - DAMASCUS


Breakfast, start our day with a quick tour of Old City of Tartous, then we sail through the sea heading Arwad Island, the only inhabited island on the Syrian coast, is located a few kilometers off the shore of Tartus. The island was settled in the early 2nd millennium BC by the Phoenicians. Located some 50 kilometres (31 mi) north of Tripolis, it was a barren rock covered with fortifications and houses several stories in height. After the visit back heading Damascus via Amrit: was a Phoenician port Founded in the third millennium BC, arrive to Damascus, free time, overnight.


DAY 05: DAMASCUS – DEP 


After breakfast, transfer to Airport for departure.
